Four Main Slides

Snake - Hairpin

Corkscrew - Twister

Right as you walk into the park there are four different slides coming down from a tower. Snake, Corkscrew, Hairpin and Twister are fun for all ages!

Parents can slide down with children in their laps.

River & Ramp Slides

River

The River Ride uses single and double tubes. It is a faster paced ride that includes descents into two buckets.

RAMP

The Ramp slide is a wide slide that empties into a 4 foot pool. It is great for all ages; parents can slide with children in their laps if necessary, otherwise one slider at a time.

Black Slides

Black Hole

The Black Hole is open from Noon until 5pm.

 

The Black Hole utilizes single tubes and everyone 5 and up can go on it.

The Drop is closed.

Kiddie Pool

Kiddie Pool

The Kiddie Pool is for ages 8 and under. It includes three smaller, slow slides for younger kids to enjoy!

Activity Pool

The Activity Pool is a heated beach entry pool. Its deepest point is 5 feet deep.

Hot Tub

We have a large hot tub that can fit up to 30 people.

Due to Washington State law, guests under the age of 6 unfortunately are not allowed in the Hot Tub.

Gift Shop

Our park includes a gift shop that has lockers and life jackets available for rental. We also have various items for sale including clothing, sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, candy, and more!

Volleyball & Basketball Courts

The park also features a sand volleyball court and a basketball court. We provide volleyballs and basketballs to use for the day. Just ask to borrow them in the gift shop! 

Concessions

The Birch Bay Waterslides offers a variety of food and drinks at our concession stand that opens up 11am. The concession stand sells hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, fries, ice cream, slushies, and soda.

Seating Areas

Our park is full of lounge chairs, picnic tables, and round tables with umbrellas that are on a first come first serve basis. We also have covered areas available for rent. Check out our reservations page for more information on how to reserve a covered area for your group!

Amenities

Park rules

  • No alcohol, smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes allowed in the park.

  • No glass containers.

  • All beverages must be factory sealed.

  • No grills or BBQs.

  • No pets allowed in the park. We do welcome service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Children must be supervised at all times. 

  • The Birch Bay Waterslides are not responsible for any lost or stolen items - valuables may be kept in lockers or in locked vehicles.

Expectations of guests

  • No running

  • Appropriate swimwear is mandatory. Swimwear most be modest and not overly revealing. 

  • No metal is allowed on the slides (buttons, chains on swimwear, etc.)

  • Sliders must slide feet first and on their back or backside at all times

  • No stopping, standing, or kneeling on any of the slides

  • Exit all slides and attractions quickly

  • Pregnant women are not permitted to use the slides or hot tub as per Washington State Health Code

  • Children under the age of 7 are not permitted in the hot tub as per Washington State Health Law

Park Rules
  • When do you open for the 2023 season?
    We will be opening weekends only starting June 3rd, then we open full time starting June 23rd till September 4th! June Weekend Dates: Open June 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 17th
  • Do you offer a group discount?
    Yes we do! If you have more than 10 people in your party, please go to the reservations tab to reserve a group party. This reservation will allow us to offer you the group party ticket rate at the admissions window once you arrive at the park. We have multiple ways that the group party reservation works to fit whatever works best for you. If one person is paying for the whole group, we will have you write down the names of everyone paid for to put at the front gate so your guests can check in there once they arrive. If everyone is paying separately, you may provide us with a guest list at the admissions window where guests can check in and pay as they arrive. *Please note, that the group discount is only available at the admissions window. You must make an online group party reservation online prior to arriving. **Also, please note that the group party reservation is separate from a covered area reservation.
  • Can I bring in my own food or a cooler?
    Yes! Our family friendly food policy permits outside food and coolers. However, there are a few restrictions: No glass or alcohol is allowed in the park. We do not allow any competitors food into the park. We sell general concessions food (chicken strips, cheeseburgers, french fries, etc) - so fast food (McDonald's, Subway, etc) is not permitted. We do not allow any open beverages into the park. All beverage containers must be factory sealed or empty (including reusable water bottles). Please keep in mind if you are bringing snacks from home in tupperware, make sure that it is plastic tupperware and not glass. Please be aware that our staff is allowed to check your cooler upon entry to the park. Besides these three rules, food is welcome into the park!
  • Do your slides have height or age requirements?
    We do not have height requirements, however, we do have some age requirements. Four Main Slides: small children can ride on a parent's lap if they are scared. We do not have a specific age requirement for the four main slides. River Ride: children must be at least two years old. Children must be able to ride behind their parent on a double tube, holding onto their shoulders (piggy-back style) if necessary. Black Hole: children must be at least 5 years old. Ramp Slide: children must be at least 2 years old. (A parent may wait at the bottom of the ramp slide to assist their child if necessary) Hot Tub: children under 7 are NOT permitted in the hot tub as per Washington State Health Laws.
  • Can I wear a life jacket on the slides?
    Absolutely! We are big on safety! You may bring and wear your own lifejacket from home or we do have life jacket rentals in our gift shop. You can rent a lifejacket from our gift shop for a $20 deposit, with a $15 refund when the jacket is returned.
  • Are lockers available to rent?
    Yes, we have small lockers available to rent near the locker rooms. In our gift shop you can rent a locker. The cost is $7, and we will give you a key for all-day access. Bring your key back before 5:55pm to get a refund of $2.
  • Do you ever close early?
    We do our best to stay open, however, we do reserve the right to close early due to inclement weather, low attendance or shortage of staff. All updates regarding closing early will be posted to our website.
  • Do I have to pay to park?
    No, all parking in the paved and gravel lot is FREE!
  • Can I drop my child off at the waterslides?
    Children 12 & under must be accompanied by a guardian. A guardian in this facility is a person of sufficient age, maturity, judgment, and ability to be responsible for the well-being and safety of a child. If your child is over 12 years old, we leave this open to parent digression on if they feel comfortable dropping off their child based on their maturity and responsibility. If you plan to drop your child off, please make sure that you have filled out an online waiver for your child prior to arrival.
  • Do I have to pay to enter the waterslides even if I am not getting in the water?
    Yes, we offer a viewer option for those who would like to spectate and not get in the water. You will pay the full admission price at the beginning of the day and we will put a viewer wristband on you. When you leave, please visit the admissions window and as long as the wristband is still on, you will receive a partial refund. If you are seen on a slide or in the hot tub with a viewer wristband on, you will be asked to remove the wristband and will not receive a partial refund.
  • What can I wear on the waterslides?
    Allowed: Appropriate swimwear Life Jackets Water Shoes Sunglasses (a sunglass strap are required as we do not stop any of the slides to look for lost sunglasses at the bottom of slides during the day) Swim diapers required for children who are not potty trained. Swim diapers are available for purchased in the gift shop. Not allowed: Jean/Jean Shorts Chains or Metal Items
  • Can I leave the park and come back in during the day?
    You are more than welcome to leave and re-enter the park. All guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to get a hand stamp prior to leaving the park.
  • What is your refund policy?
    Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
  • How do I sign the required waiver?
    Click here to learn more about the waiver and to sign! To sign the required waiver, you can do so as apart of the checkout process when purchasing a ticket or pass online. You can also sign a waiver through our website. There will also be an option to sign the waiver at the admissions window once you arrive to the park.
  • Can I bring in my own chairs or canopy?
    Yes! You are more than welcome to bring in your own chairs and/or canopy/pop up tent. We ask that you set up any sort of pop up tent out in the open grass areas.
  • Is there a weight limit on the slides?
    No, we do not have a weight limit on any of our slides.
